Already I can predict with absolute certainty that the Mules will own the basement in their division. The talent pool is so thin, and I did a terrible job of protecting players who could have an impact in 07, other than pitchers.

My team will be playing slap ball, but unfortunately we have no speed other the Carl Crawford. I've never seen so many guys who are slow singles hitters. This is one of the downsides of the Moneyball movement - guys who can get on base, but play station-to-station.

The Mules slogan for 07: Four walks = 1 run.

Gents, tomorrow I'll be driving my wife to a speaking engagement in the charming hamlet of Ottumwa, Iowa. I'll be out of pocket for the entire day, so if my turn comes and goes, it is perfectly ok to skip me.

We're going to stick to the clock in this league, as per the desires of the majority.
