waiting to begin loading in the west...can everyone post their current rosters...trading is impossible or can we update the draft list link...i made changes but they don't hold. my roster on this thread is accurate. before we can begin play someone has to check to make sure all rosters are accurate

I hate suggesting this because TRich is a great guy to have in the league, but if he doesn't check-in within the next couple of days I'm going to seek a replacement.
Unfortunately, I've seen waiting around for one owner become the death of a league and I don't want that to happen here.

I think I was in that league, BC. TRich checks the boards on an infrequent basis. Perhaps we should move him to the West and replace only if we don't here from him by, say, Friday? I'd hate to replace him and I'm certain he'd check in the day after we did. Perhaps we should get his email address......

You cannot move T Rich to the west..it spoils the theme, but leagues do tend to wait on T-Rich. I will be going up north soon (wed night) so ya'll may be waiting on me too. It would be no great loss to me if there was no season 2.

i will wait as long as anybody wants...so my vote goes the way of the majority...but i do have 2 thoughts on the future of the league.
1. To make this league strong and achieve the original vision I think we need to consider after a season is done posting a 40 man roster and throwing your other players back in and drafting the last players based on record from the previous season. this gives losing teams some new life and a slightly improved roster. maybe even make it 35 man or whatever the league thinks. This also adds in the best part of the game....the draft and construction or in this case the reconstruction of a team.
2. We need a location for the accurate rosters to be accessible to encourage trading....probably the 2nd most fun thing in this game because it is reconstruction during the season. Right now it is hard to make trades because the rosters are from the beginning of last year before UGLY went on a George Steinbrenner cleaning house rampage...I have players that have been traded 2 or 3 times. but lately there is no movement. We need a jump start. Probably can't do it now because the rules have been posted...but it may become neccessary if we need to attract an owner to replace trich. Just some things to think about....my team is waiting...i will give it to the end of the week and see what you all decide...i will not bail on you all however...if you play i will be there...but by friday i am looking to use a credit and i have watched other leagues posted and go by that i would have liked to play in.

Yount update...looks like talks have cooled...no real deals offered that would improve myteam...i may be overvaluing him....but everyday i put him in at ss i am far better than the team i am playing and it takes a few other players to make up that difference.

YF, why have you soured or become indifferent to this league? Do others feel like ice or YF, and feel there needs to be changes?

Not sure what the changes would be as the league looks good on paper. But to me the major issue is roster tracking. I don't want to spend the time to see who has the players I needed in then spend a week trying to trade for them, only to realize that nobody wants to give them up.
