That's pretty much correct. Except you don't have to drop the third eligible player in the waiver draft necessarily, but you should drop him immediately after.

I'll remind everyone what to do when the autodraft runs.

[quote:5218db5563]I was torn between the Sox and the Expos, but that OF is hard to ignore. But Carter and Raines....[/quote:5218db5563]

YF, don't think I'm whacked here, but if the right cards show up, an outfield of Raines, Dawson and Valentine/Cromartie could produce every bit as much offense, and MORE defense, than the Rice/Lynn/Evans combo. Rice does have a dud card that we've both had a few times; Lynn can get injured, and Evans can bat .225 (with a .400 OBP - he's a strange card with all those walks).

It will be fun to see how the second half of the draft works out.

Not happy with this pick, but the 8 teams I wanted were all taken. May be willing to swap the Pirates to BigAlric or BC, if you guys want them, depending on who else gets taken, for a swap pick on the way back up.

Pittsburgh is a very good pick, Hak. I could be interested in swapping, depending on who's left when my pick comes up.
