[quote:e6f50c7c15="durantjerry"]Papasturgeon said he should be in as #11 in League #4 today.[/quote:e6f50c7c15]

He was having issues with credits transferring among other things.

League 5 is missing 2.

Was hoping to wake up to a drafted team.

I was thinking the same thing about League #4. 2 managers are still AWOL. One of them was our closer...you know...the guy who volunteered to get into the league at a moments notice to close it out.

You can't blame the closers. Closer means last team in. If there are 2 missing teams then the closer is waiting on the 11th team.

Fench22 is now in League 5. Voovits can now close League 5. Papasturgeon from League 4 has credit issues that will probably be resolved Monday. I expect him in then unless something changes today.

The closer as LMBombers stated is required to wait until all other 11 members are loaded in the league. The close position is a highly important position in that he ensures that all leagues start in the same week.

Now that Fench22 is loaded, the closer will close out league 5 today. The closer for League 4 will have to wait for Papasturgeon. Papasturgeon apologized for his credit issues and we can assume to see Paul in by Monday at the lastest. Life is not perfect and people have an occasional issue.

All teams will begin their leagues next Monday. I am very pleased that we kept all 60 original players for 4 rounds and that the rounds started simultaneously.

I do need potential winners of the Pete Rose and Tony Gwynn autographed balls for longest hitting streak and highest batting average.

I had been at the computer pretty much all day Friday and Saturday ready to close league 5.
Though thinking about it, under the circumstances I suppose the closer is no longer necessary since at this stage it no longer matters when the league fills.
On that note, I'm doing my team now, so league 5 will be filled shortly.

Edit: League full! Waiting to draft
