You may end up being right, but how do you get '87 out of Dawson? 97 ABs at the Kingdome and Fenway (home parks, anyway) led to 2 HRs, 1 2B, a .124 BA, .196 SLG and .165 OBP.

Actually, my theory is that Dawson [b:e4cecc6fc1]isn't sporting his 1984[/b:e4cecc6fc1] season card here.
Why 1984?
[b:e4cecc6fc1]No Slugging[/b:e4cecc6fc1]
I grant his lack of power is probably enough to jump on the 1984 bandwagon but closer inspection shows some leaks here.
[list:e4cecc6fc1]Dawson only [b:e4cecc6fc1]played six (6) games [/b:e4cecc6fc1]in the Kingdome [b:e4cecc6fc1]AND[/b:e4cecc6fc1]played nine (9) games in sub-neutral (County / Veterans) or pitcher parks (Busch)
Faced three (3) of top 5 pitching teams [b:e4cecc6fc1]AND[/b:e4cecc6fc1] faced Clemens twice (note: [u:e4cecc6fc1]the Rocket has yet to yielded a HR to RHB[/u:e4cecc6fc1])!

Yet, his only two (2) HRs came off of RHP.
Okay ... he clearly didn't show glimpses of his 1987 season power but can you blame him when he faced Clemens x2, Soto, and Orel all in span of 18 games?

I'd love a 1980 Bake McBride card. Did you ever notice that nearly every player that played only a couple of seasons for the Phils sucked in those years (Mike Young, Phil Bradley - I can't think of others right now). I guess you do get the Dude's best seasons. Can't complain.

I liked McBride's 1977 season (split with Cards though)
He had a .965 OPS with 11 HRs in 280 ABs along with 36 SBs.
Not too shabby from Shakin Bake!
Still Luz had a .988 OPS that season with 39 HRs, drove in 130 runs (had 11 OF assists to boot), and out performed Schmidt by a nose.
Of course, TSN can use Carew's 1977 season but not Greg's!
