I did a name search and he was not injured on there. When I added him to my team he showed up injured on my roster. I looked when he got hurt for his first team and it said he was to be back in game 7.
Any idea what is going on with that? Now I am out not only that cash but also the cash for the pitcher I dropped for him. Any help would be appreciated.

No worries...The injured sign stays on the player you picked up from FA, however, as long as he has completed his injury time he will go into your lineup tonight.
That has confused many people including myself when I first started playing.

Don't panic. It is just a glitch in the system. Put him in your lineup and he will be playing. The "I" will disappear after tonight's games.
Mike
Thanks one more question

Thanks a million for that info. One mor equestion. He was injured in game 3 and then I guess dropped. This is game 67. Does he still have to sit out 3 more games since he was dropped or is he good to go now?

Hes good to go but if he was dropped after an injury in game 3 he probably had a bad injury reveal. check out what he got injured on (and against a R or L pitcher) and try to figure out which of his 5 cards he has.

Sometimes its a bad injury reveal, but then again, sometimes it's not. It's always worth checking. I picked up Reggie Jackson in a current league when (checking the boxscores) he showed a strikeout injury vs LHP. That could have been his worst year but could also have been his two best years. It was still in the 95% drop period, so I thought picking him up was worth the gamble, even though he hadn't hit much in 11 games with his first team. He started like a house afire for me and just kept going--he's currently has 32 HR in 293 AB with a .331 BA and 74 RBI in 77 games. He's sporting a OPS of 1.124. Soooo....at this point, I have little doubt it's his very best year (.994 OPS), and, as I say, it's generally worth checking the injury possiblities on a player with an "I"--it's free info and can sometimes lead to great results.
