I've got a team where I've got Tony Gwynn in CF and Reggie Jackson in RF, and Tony Scott on the bench. How do I set up HAL so that Gwynn slides over to Rf, Scott comes in at CF, and Reggie rides the pine late in the game?

I know I've done it before, but haven't gotten it to work with my current team.

Make Gwynn your defensive replacment for right field, Scott for center and mark Jackson "remove for defensive sub with lead".

Also . . . these have to be set up in Defensive sub slots 1&2 or 3&4. Any other combination will not work.

I can't get this to work. In one of my lineups, I have Horner starting at 3B and Molitor at 2B with Randolph on the bench. For defense in late innings I want to bring Horner out, switch Molitor to 3rd and bring Randolph in at 2B.

I have it set up:
Def. Replacement #1 - Molitor, 3B
Def. Replacement #2 - Randolph, 2B
Horner marked "remove for def. sub w/ lead"

Instead of doing what I want Hal just brings in Royster for Horner and either leaves Molitor, or brings in Randolph for Molitor.

What am I doing wrong?

Put Randolph #1 and Molitor #2.
