I am playing in a No DH league. 2nd game of the season Soto gets hurt. How do I get the injury reveal on a pitcher when he is hurt batting. It was against Steve Rogers if that helps at all.

There are no injury reveals for pitchers in a no DH league.

Pitchers hitting cards are *generic* cards anyhow. You wouldn't be able to tell which pitcher you had based on the hitter's injury result.
In the 80's game, a pitcher's hitting ability is the same for all 5 cards so it uses the same generic hitting card.

So basically all hitters hit the same, it is all luck :? .

I should have qualified my "generic" card definition. Each pitcher in the league is rated for hitting in the top center of their pitching card.
The code looks like this usually: 1WR, or 1WL, or 5NR, or etc.
There are *7* generic pitchers' hitting cards: 1 through 7.
The first number tells you which generic pitchers' hitting card to use. 1 being the worst and 7 being the best.
A card with a 7 may hit like a .260 hitter or something like that and it gets worse from there....where a "1" card looks like Geno Petralli vs. lefties in his 7R year. :P
The middle letter tells you if he has HR power or not. "W" meaning no HR's can be hit off of a pitcher's card during the AB. A "N" means that if your pitcher rolls a HR off the pitcher's card and is successful then it will go over the fence.
The last letter shows whether he is RH or LH or S.
Every pitcher has his own hitting rating. Most AL pitchers are rated at a "1W" for obvious reasons. But there are a few pitchers that can actually hit the ball.
I believe Steve Carlton is a 3NL and Rick Sutcliffe in his hey day was a 7NL.
Hope that helps explain things some.

I thought there had been discussion in other online SOM games that it seemed like the pitchers hitting cards were not being used...
Just thought I'd hijack the thread and spread some wild rumors.

Huh, I thought it was a little different. I thought there were eight different hitting cards. 1-5 were generally for contact hitters (with that #5 card being the .260 hitter) and 6-8 being guys who could actually hit for power and had the N rating as well as HRs on the hitting card itself. Some other pitchers who they knew could hit the longball got that N rating, even if they had a 3 or 5 card, since they didn't hit any HRs in that particular year (or in this game's case, didn't average enough HRs per year to get a card with HRs on it).
Here's something from my offline game's help file:
IF NO HR'S OR AB/HR>=68
Bavg Card
.000 - .134 1
.135 - .179 2
.180 - .224 3
.225 - .269 4
.270 + . . . .5
IF AB/HR < 68
Bavg Card
.000 - .199 6
.200 - .249 7
.250 + . . . .8
