Ok i am a rookie to online strat, need some help. Does hal always pick your worst RP when its tied even if it is late, does hal never bring your closer in a tie? Also can you tell hal not to pinch run for someone? Thanks in advance for he help

You can't tell him not to pinch run, but you can tell him not to pinch hit for someone (vs RH or LH). You can designate a specific pinch runner under the manager screen, for use in those situations. I can't answer for whether HAL uses the closer during a tie. I do know that if you don't designate a closer, HAL will use your best relievers in all sorts of situations. It might be better, in the long run, to NOT do so. I had Holland and Henke on the same team, no designated closer, and HAL used Henke most often for saves (he ended up with 22 saves, but worked 111 Inns). Holland was used in all sorts of situations, and had 20 wins and 8 saves (not to mention 175 IP and 189 K's). I'd not designate a closer until perhaps the playoffs, if you want to shorten the staff. Otherwise, let HAL determine RP usage -- he seems to handle the BP fairly well, provided he has decent relievers to work with.
