Rocket Fires No-Hitter, Strikes out 12

Postby Outta Leftfield » Thu Oct 05, 2006 8:53 am

Clemens just pitched a no-no for me with 12 Ks and 2 BBs. He's been amazing all season and this time no-hit a team on a pace to score 1100 runs. Go, Rocket!

Congrats Outta...He is killing for you!!

I only had the Rocket on one team and he didn't perform very well. I traded him mid-season and the other guy had the same mediocre results. When the season ended...it showed his best ('90) card!! Go figure...

Ron Guidry pitched a no-no for me last night, but only struck out 8. He's taken me on a helluva ride this year, 26-6, 2.08 ERA, 0.93 WHIP, 7 shutouts, 309 k's, with one more start.

Guess which year I got :D :D :D :D :D

I see that Clemens fanned Canseco 4 times during the no-hitter. Maybe Canseco's steroidal head reminded Clemens of Jason Grimsley.
