We had the "lucky cards" discussion last week. Anybody have cards that keep coming up snake-eyes?
My unlucky card is the one I always figured would guarantee me a spot in the playoffs if I was ever "lucky" enough to grab him: Robin Yount. I know, I know: even his bad card isn't that bad, but MAN it's frustrating to keep having it turn up when you build a team around a guy. In the league I'm in that just started last night, Yount went down for 15 days in game one. Arrrrrggghhh!!!

every 2B
I also seem to get Molitor's bad year 50% of the time.
Durham also seems to underperform ALL THE TIME

I've only completed 4 seasons, but Boggs (twice with him, twice on other teams) has been his bad year each time. I think Molitor (once with him)has been bad 3 times. The only time Brett was bad was when I went with him. So 4 marquee 3B and 4 fizzles.

I'm in the same boat as honestiago...Soto doesn't like pitching for me. So, in the live draft I just finished...I drafted him again!!

Pedro G sucks for me
Four times owned
2 - worse season card (owned him to the bitter end)
1 - best season card (he just sucked)
1 - I have no clue but he sucked too.

I didnt think Soto had a "bad" year either. So, I picked him up in an autoleague where he had a 1.41 WHIP and 5.90 ERA after 6 games, even thought I am playing in Riverfront (on the theory that when he gives up HRs, there shouldnt be that many guys on base).
Funny thing is he isnt giving up that many HRs, but righties are hiting 323 against him which, of course, doesnt match up with any of his cards.
