Confused in Comiskey (pitching)

I'm in the preseason at Comiskey and I want to get my four-man rotation together.

So far, I have Key, Reuschel, and Leibrandt. I also have Sutcliffe. The question is, whose the best bet of these three: Sutcliffe, Morris, Wegman? Sutcliffe appears to have the best single card ('84), but the other four aren't much. The other guys seem to give me a better chance for a good card, but don't have the one big season.

Anyone have any preferences? Thanks in advance.

Lamar Hoyt if he is available. Two other guys that did real well for me in Comiskey are Deleon and Alexander.

Hey Pillpop, can you post the FA pitchers available between about 4.5 and 6 million, that would help.

Personally, I'm not a fan of any of the three. I know a number of people start the season with Sutcliffe, to see if the get the '84 card with the full expectation that they will drop him early if he doesn't work out.

If there are a number of good pitchers on the FA, that may be a good strategy, as you will likely still have a good choice if you are ready to make a move. If there is slim pickins though, you may want to get a more reliable guy now.

I'm not sure if that link works. But, you know, there are the usual post-waiver suspects out there. I've had luck with Witt and Sanderson. Among the other * guys: Guzman, Boddicker, Gubicza, Show, Wegman, Morris, Zane Smith, Danny Jackson, Bud Black, Hough, Dave Stewart (who I dropped), Show, Flanagan, Bannister, Terrell...

Like everyone elose, I'm fishing for the good card with Sutcliffe, and I guess there are enough options if I don't strike gold, but I'm also curious if I'm overlooking anybody.

I like Bud Black (if you need a lefty), Morris (if you have the money), then Wegman.

Those would be my top 3. I've had solid performances from all of them.

hmmm. I don't particularly like any of them. Many people don't like Hough because you don't get that "great" year from him that other cards in his price range may give you. On the other hand, he almost never gives you a bad year.

I might start with a Sutcliffe or a Guzman (another awsome or horrible guy), and then fall back to a Hough or Black or even a Zane Smith. They will not be likely to give you a great year, but generally give you solid to acceptable years, and they are usually available for a while.
