These are the sub-million hitters from my database of over 30 leagues sorted by total AB. These are only guys who finished the season on a roster and their stats for their last team. Remy is used the most.

I'm new to this and my team's stinking (losing a ton of close games). But, I've found Aurelio Lopez and Donnie Moore very useful to date. Moore (RHP) dominates lefties. Royster hits well (can't field though) and Scott Fletcher hits well too.

I've had good luck with Donnie Moore too. I also have had sucess with Carmelo Martinez who most recently started on a league champion team.

I went through my teams and was surprised at how little my <1.0 mil guys had played for the most part. Lots of partial seasons and/or platoons for my guys in the field. I was surprised at how few good seasons I got out of cheap relievers.
SP: Mathews (9-6, 3.46 ERA); in a present league I have Mathews, Burris, and Schrom all with <4.00 ERA)
RP: Brusstar (8-6, 5 SV, 2.00 ERA), 5 other good seasons
RP: Dayley (10-7, 28 SV, 2.76 ERA, 1.06 WHIP)
RP: L. Anderson (3-3, 6 SV, 2.04 ERA, 1.08 WHIP)
RP: Gleaton (4-4, 14 SV, 3.09 ERA)
RP: Camp (4-3, 11 SV, 2.75 ERA, 1.03 WHIP, season in progress)
Biggest overperformance: Bob James, 3-2, 13 SV, 3.12 ERA, 1.10 WHIP with his 86 card!
C: Wathan (.291, .444 SLG, .348 OBP)
C: Salas (.291, 12 HR, .496 SLG, .349 OBP)-platoon
C: Benedict (.320, 10 HR, .527 SLG, .396 OBP)-platoon
C: May (.243, 14 HR, .412 SLG)
1B: Putnam (.273, 14 HR, .478 SLG)
2B: B. Ripken (.306, 34 2B, .397 SLG, .353 OBP)
2B: Oester (.279, 12 HR, .435 SLG)
2B: Aguayo (.305, 390 AB, 29 2b, 19 HR, 57 RBI, .546 SLG, .386 OBP)-platoon
2B: Duncan (.324, .466 SLG, .346 OBP)-platoon
SS: DeJesus (.284 avg in 313 AB)
SS: Griffin (.304 avg in 201 AB)
3B: Morrison (.334, 12 HR, 48 RBI, 308 AB, .533 SLG, .394 OBP)
LF: Polonia (.302, .424 SLG, .336 OBP)-platoon
LF: M. Young (.288, 257 AB, 16 HR, 50 RBI, .549 SLG, .386 OBP)
CF: G. Young (.323, 468 AB, .361 OBP, 29 SB)
RF: Dilone (.329, .354 OBP, 26 SB)-platoon
Biggest overperformance-Morrison with .927 OPS with '84 card.
By OPS my best sub mill seasons (>200 AB) were:
M. Young (257 AB): .933
Aguayo (390 AB): .932
Morrison (308 AB): .927
Benedict (203 AB): .921
Salas (222 AB): .845

RP: TMartinez 4-7 3 sv, 87.2 67 37 68 3.08 1.19
RP: Dayley 5-2 1 sv. 45.0 33 16 31 1.60 1.09 for a championship team
RP: Lopez 7-7 44 sv. 102.1 83 39 73 2.64 1.19 (lost finals [had SEVERAL very good years with this guy, but this is the best of 'em])
RP: J. Robinson 12-4 1 sv. 130.1 119 46 99 3.38 1.27 (lost finals [diff team]) Robinson is undervalued.
OF/DH: Bailor, B. 311 42 14 0 26 21 .328 .379 .369 (champion)
and again: Bailor, B. 306 40 14 6 29 .294 .405 .314 (lost finals)

and again: Braggs 119 25 5 10 25 .336 .664 .355 (lost semis)
SS/DH Fletcher 344 42 12 2 22 30 .270 .340 .329 (yep -- he DH'ed a lot [no good top of the order hitters]) lost finals
Morrison 312 34 21 11 38 35 .276 .487 .349 (for a team that won 83)
GYoung 487 76 13 2 62 42 33 SB's 1-Error .314 .370 .372 (non-playoff team, 83 W's)
There've been others, but these are guys who contributed to winners.

Cabell can be the perfect RH compliment to a platoon at 1b or even 3b for that matter. I use him often.
