How long to fill auto leagues?

I've played a number of teams over the past two years with Strat '05 and '06, but I'm taking my first go-round with the '80s. How long does it take to fill auto leagues usually? Are there other leagues forming that may fill faster? Any help would be great.

Look at the Sticky near the top of this forum that lists leagues available. That will give you an idea how close leagues are to forming.

Yeah, I saw that list...I'm more curious as to how long it will take my league to fill. It seems that the private leagues have themes to them, so I'm not sure I should put my regular AD team in them. Thanks for the tip, though.

It depends on the time of year etc, but a few Auto Draft leagues tend to fill each week. I think it may be a bit harder right now since everyone seems to be waiting for the '70s launch.

Very true...there does seem to be a lot of excitement for the 70s game. Thanks again for the help.

If you join an auto league and want to fill it faster, it helps to post an advertisement on the boards too. Something with a headline like..."league (fill in the league #) needs 5 more to draft.

I've found this helps a lot...

advertise the fact, if true, that a lot of new players are in the league. the sharks will fill the league quickly.

i haven't played btt 80's in a while, but that used to be the norm.

waiting for the 70s to start. hopefully tomorrow?
