Can't save players in backup positions

I can’t seem to be able to save any positional backups on the lineup page. If I click on the ‘backups’ button, a window opens to the right with a drop-down list of players eligible at that position, but when I select a player as backup and then save the lineup and exit back to the first page, I get a message saying “Error: There was a problem saving your lineup. Please try again”, and there is no player listed in the backup column. Is this a problem anyone else is having or can you let me know if I’m doing something wrong? Thanks.

What browser do you use? I think it has problems with Safari, but is okay with Firefox and Explorer?

I've tried both Firefox and Explorer. No dice for either, but if it's working for you, then the problem is obviously on my end. Perhaps I'll try disabling all the pop-up blocker stuff that is usually running. Thanks.

I have been trying to save my line-up against left-handed pitchers and I do not have a position for CF so I can put player in. I am ok on right handed pitcher line-up with DH but not left handed. Only have 8 positions posted and CF not one of them. Although it has DH.

Although Bernie has addressed the issue of player positions disappearing after today's waiver run in another thread, I remain unable to save players to backup positions and am pretty convinced that the two issues are related and that the problem is not due to conditions on any of my computers (although perhaps my TSN account itself is somehow corrupted). Anyway, can someone verify for me that when you set backups, the players you select show up on the first lineup page in the columns backup 1 and backup 2. I'm getting an error message here and don't see any names listed which is why I believe it is not working for me. Thanks.

Okay, I fixed it. Sorry for the confusion...
Yes, JPGator, you're supposed to be the backups listed under Backup 1 and Backup 2.

Thank you very much, Bernie. It's working now for me. :D
