Just as a business decision alone, its mind-boggling that Gibson's 68 card is not included.
Imagine the number of additional teams owners would buy just to have a shot at having him lead their staff. Geeze, thats the card I always dreamed of having since online strat started (I do have the actual board game 68 card)

Who is Steve Carleton paying off at TSN so his wonder year of 27-10 gets put in the game and Gibby doesn't get his?

Who at TSN just will not let Gibby have his day?

Let's change this now and get his 68 card in the mix--Hey everybody wins--TSN makes more money, we get the card we dreamed of (well at least once in awhile.... :-)

[b:4fcc9b3c6d]Speak up and be heard--lets leave TSN no choice (hey it would help them tooo)[/b:4fcc9b3c6d]

Hmmmmmmmmmmm, Carlton, 1972.......that 70's game.........Gibby 68........Gibby played in the 70's pretty good.

It could have been included. I've seen 1966 cards.

I see George Brett's awesome 1980 year is in the 70s game.

They included his 69 year in the mix, why not his 68? As you noted, some players got years from as far back as 66.

Of course it might have made more logical sense to include that in one of the ATG games but nope, we get his 64 card, which is mediocre at best, and big trouble against lefties.

Well maybe when the 60's decade game comes out sometime we will get Gibbys 68, Rapid Sam's 65, Marichal 65 (won the most games of any pitcher in the 60s), etc.

correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't SOM pick the cards for the 80's game, not TSN?

Indeed the '68 Gibson should be included. Jim Kaats 1965 is included and the last time I check the 70's didn't include 1965.

The first thing I checked when the player pool was available was to see if the Gibson '68 card was included.

Not as bad of an omission but why no 1975 Fred Lynn?
