that, despite what's been said by Bernie (who supposedly represents TSN), that the 80's game is on its way out. Or, even if it's not going to be entirely replaced by the 70's, I'm beginning to think that we won't ever see any of the promised improvements to the 80's interface. Has anybody else noticed that the 80's server has slowed significantly since the launch of the 70's? Methinks that's most likely because they're using the same server, which, to me, means that it's only a matter of time before they shut down the 80's game. As someone else pointed out (although the original posting seems to have been removed), there isn't even an 80's link under the Strat-O-matic menu anymore... hmmm. Something's wrotten in the state of Mudville.[/u]

I hope you are wrong, on the main fantasy page there is still an 80's link

I think I probably am wrong, probably spoke too soon, and I'm sure the lack of a link is just a mistake. At least I'm hoping so because I'm still enjoying playing the 80's. Oh well, it's just a game.

Once the luster of the 70s wears off, you'll probably see a pickup in business in the 80s.
Plus, there could some interesting themes available if you use both sets.

I think the 80's will stay pretty steady - I know that I'll play several 70's teams, but the pricing and player pool is structured so differently from the 80's, that my heart will still be stuck in the 80's game - maybe it's because of my age, too. A few new bells & whistles to the 80's game would be nice.
Here's to a BTT90's launch next fall?

I love the mystery concept and the seemingly lack of offense in the 70s may keep me in the 80's indefinitely.

I prefer the 80s so far. I'm not terribly impressed with the overall feel of the 70's league yet.
