Franchise based theme league -DRAFT IN PROGRESS

Postby genegrid » Sun Dec 17, 2006 7:28 am

Draft your favorite franchise and have exclusive rights all season to your players. You may also have one free agent on your roster that played for a team not represented in this league.

1.Lotto for pick and then choose your franchise then 1 round FA draft in reverse order
2.$100 mil cap with a DH
3.Player of multiple teams represented in this league goes to whichever team he had the most AB's or IP's with(5 yr total). That franchise has exclusive rights all season.
4. You must play in your franchise ballpark
5. Frenzy
6. Non franchise Free Agents and trades are not allowed (other then the one free agent that you can swap for another FA at anytime during the season). You may drop and pick your own franchise players as often as you wish.
7. If your franchise does not have a backup at a position you may pickup a .75 player from a franchise not represented in this league.
8. standard 5/10/20 drop rule
9. Divisions are based on draft order East 9-12, Central 5-8 and West 1-4. This way the 12th pick can choose his franchise, pick his FA and then start the league

Need a usage tie breaker

Postby genevajack » Sun Dec 17, 2006 10:37 pm

Bill Singer has two franchises where he pitched his highest inning count. How about the team He played for most-first to break a tie? In this case it would be the Angels.
