There was some pre-card debate re: JR and I was wondering if I could see some early results for him. Have the Ks outweighed the BBs?

I was a little leery at first but decided to spend the extra money and so far it has paid off

I too was very curious about JR. He started off dominant for me but has seriously tapered off. I'm not at all sure what year I have from him, not as many BBs as I feared, but a lot more hits and HRs allowed than I expected:

Probably '75 card, if so I may not stay with him if my team starts struggling, but I'll ride things out for now. Oh yeah, I'm in 3 Rivers.

Update: Not 3 hours after I posted this, I dumped him after another start allowing 3 HRs and more than 10 hits. I guess 3 Rivers is not so good of a fit for him.

Very good at Oakland

Howdy,

Between growing up attending Astros games in SE Texas back in the 70s and now calling NW Louisiana my adopted home, I simply [i:d0243b0532]had[/i:d0243b0532] to draft big JR Richard for my first SOM team a couple of years ago.
The big guy was impressive! He gave up some BBs, but went 14-9 for a light-hitting squad. WHIP was 1.21 with 268 SOs. ERA was a mere 2.56.
