I have read complaining about Hal, but this takes the cake.
Paul Moliter is my DH and Dave Concepcion is my SS. Both are injured.
Hal puts Alfredo Griffin at DH and Leon Roberts at SS!!!!!
Did Hal successfully complete 1st grade???????
I lost by 1 run 7-6.

Normally HAL would put the best hitter in as the sub (irregardless of the defensive rating) but Roberts doesn't play shortstop. That would still happen if no other player on the team has a shortstop rating, but in this case Griffin IS a shortstop. Very strange...even for HAL.
I've had some unlikely players sub for injuries in positions they are not rated for, but never ahead of a player who is actually rated for that position. There must be a glitch in the system. Actually I am SURE there is a glitch in the system, because 2 teams I have currently running are enjoying winning seasons. Yes, there is definitely a glitch in the system!!

You don't know which position HAL filled first. If he first subs for the injured DH, he would pick the best hitter (Griffin), leaving himself without a rated SS, explaining how Roberts wound up at SS.
Only a possibility. HAL isn't good at subs. When my CF was injured, HAL used a DeJesus in CF, leaving Yount at SS and E.Davis in LF. Oops.
