Looking for any advice.
I doubt I'll get him, but I'm trying to trade out Kal Daniels at LF for who I believe must be Ricky Henderson (Oak #24).
I'm sitting in the #12 spot.
I'll also probably look to upgrade at 1b.
Thanks for the help.

Not a bad start, although there are some holes. Nice middle INF and you've brought Dale Murphy home to Fulton County. I'd keep Kal - there are very few top of the line LH. I'd look for improvement at the corners. Pendleton is OK at best and there probably is better at 1B. Probably can upgrade White as well. You also have a lot of $ in RP. Definitely dump Holland and at least consider a cheaper replacement for Howe. As for the your SP, I think McGregor is a dog.
If Rickey is available, you're not going to get him at 12. Who else is out there?

I'd keep Daniels for sure. If you get one of his cards that he can only hit righties, Castillo might be a good platoon.. or the 'Fuss for a little more. If you were planning on keeping a cheap CF, i would try and pick up Pettis.. not as good defensively as White and less power, but has decent OBP and better speed-and is cheaper.
McGregor needs to go. Holland is too expensive, IMO.

Take it easy on me Penn. Please.
Just from these last two posts, I need to go change all of my waivers. Since it doesn't look like I'll get my second choice either.

OK,
Waivers are done. Here is what my team looks to be. Very open to all suggestions. (I've got about 1.5 million to play with)
Starting Rotation:
Valenzuela
Carlton
Scott
Hoyt
Closer:
New York Mets #47 (I'm guessing Orosco?)
Bullpen:
Swift
Howe
Russell
Stanley
Martinez
Lineup:
ss- Smith
2b - Randolph
cf - Murphy
dh - Daniels
lf - Bell
1b - Durham
3b - Gaetti
c - LaValliere
rf - White
Thanks again for the help.

You dont need Howe and Orozco. I would drop 1 to upgrade RF. You need more production than White will give. Dont worry about defense, you need some 'pop'. Keep a close eye on Hoyt. He isnt a good fit for your park. He can give up a lot of HRs. It may depend on what kind of parks you have in your division.

I see you've followed Panzer ace's advice, dropping Hoyt for J Niekro, dropping Orozco, and adding Barfield. Good moves.
LaValliere and B. Martinez should make a good platoon at C.
Good luck with the team! :D
