Where's the Injury?

This is probably old news to you 80's vets but where is the injury on Lloyd Moseby's 1986 card vs LHP? I have not noticed a card before that has an injury on one side of the card and not on the other. Is this a mistake or are there other cards like this?

I'm pretty sure it isn't a mistake. Check out Garvey '78 and '85...he's injury free in both years on both sides. '78 Rice doesn't have an injury on either side. I think there's other cards like that, but I can't remember off-hand.
It's surprising to me, however, that Iron-Man Cal Ripkin Jr. isn't included in that select company. That's probably where the mistake is!
Plate Appearance cutoff

What I recall is that there's a plate-appearances cutoff for no injuries. It's something like 700 PA. Rice makes it in 78. There's another cutoff, maybe 670 PA, where you can be injured, but for that game only. Does anyone know the exact numbers?
Anyway, Cal hits the higher cutoff in some years, though not in others (but TSN's usage seems inconsistent here--84 has 712 PA but also an injury.) Still, my understanding is that, based on his high PAs in every season, Cal can only be injured for the remainder of the game, so he won't lose his streak in any season. I can report that I've had Cal through three complete seasons and also one current season at game 127, and I've never seen him injured. I've also had Rice's brilliant injury free season twice. Sweet!
Again, anyone who could be more specific about the cutoffs should chime in here. :D

I understand about certain PA equals injury on card or no injury on card. What I have never encountered before is injury on one side of the card only. Is this a mistake on Moseby's card or are there other examples of this?

Apparently I have stumped the 80's experts on this one!

Well, I've never seen it before--i.e., the injury on only one side of Moseby's card. It might very well be a mistake. If Moseby came up with an injury anyway vs LHP and you knew that was his year, it would prove it was a misprint.
