Think I did okay here

I just finalized the team prior to the start of the season. I didn't get my usual formulaic team, so I went with some players I've never had, but heard good things about (Crim, Swan, Tettleton).

My idea: I got Morris to eat innings and occassionally rest my pen. He'll win 12-15, I imagine, no matter what card he's got ('course, he might lose 20, as well). Burns looks like a consistent lefty (he ain't Higuera, my pet pick, but he's good). My gambles are Swan, Cerutti, and Schmidt. EVERYONE benefits from Dodger Stadium (didn't go with the Astrodome, per usual). The rotation is only set for #1 and #2 (Morris and Burns) and I'm letting the computer pick the rest of the starters for awhile.

Offensie: I hate Hojo's defense, but dig that speed, power and OBP. White doesn't walk, but he bats low in the order. He'll hit better on the road (well, the whole team will). Barfield and Puckett's -4's should really help my pitchers. Gamble is a great guy to have in the lineup, isn't he?

Anyway, on the whole, I think we can score some runs. I just hope I get some middle relief to get to Henke (yeah, I know he costs a lot, but he's a lights out closer, and, as Bill James wrote in the last historical abstract, outs from relivers are worth more than outs from starters). I think I have pretty good balance in the lineup, and hopefully enough pitching to be competitive. We'll see, huh?
