My rather ordinary offensive/great pitching team made the finals. We'll be facing the good hitting wild card team that upset the league's number #1 team in the semi's. Hope we can score enough runs!

Morris started 3-14, went 9-5 down the stretch, and won a playoff game. Higuera seems to have recovered form for the playoffs. Fernandez was a consistent hitter all year long, and Clark finally started to hit late. We'll see if it continues.

Good luck!--I've had a couple of average-hitting, good-pitching teams that have won it all, so it can be done. :D

The Boston Harbors II really is a good team. He might be the most improved squad in the league from opening day. I know that I didn't want to face him as the wild card winner. Turns out I was right.
I agree

Harbors record was was only two games off mine, and better than the central division winner. I was scared of the semi-final team I played because of its LHP. Thought maybe Fernandez and Candeleria might shut down my LH bats (whitaker, clark and DwMurph all were pretty poor against lefties).
It should be interesting, because the Harbors have all RHP starts, and most of my team's power is against righties. However, his RH-heavy lineup could be very tough on my best two starters, who are both left handed, and Morris, who seems to be a reverse righty. On the other hand, this helps Soto, who finished strong, and had a good first playoff start.
I'm just glad I nabbed a credit. That's a nice Thanksgiving present.
Check out my over/under League Team

My team in the over/under 4 million league has made the finals with the second worst run production in the league. I am really going to have a challenge in the finals since my team cannot hit left handed pitching and the team I am going against Higuera, Tudor, Black and Browing as its starters.

I feel blessed that I received a credit as well.

My team actually produced better than yours (that's saying something). Dave Smith sure shut it down for you (.72 WHIP? Ungodly). What's up with Brett's AB's? Did you trade for him? Al Oliver gave you a great half season. I love Jimmy Key, don't you? Never had Rocket (gave up even trying to draft him -- I never get 'im).

I traded for Brett and Oliver. Jimmy Key usually does not do well for me. I have had the Rocket twice and I grab him any time he is available. The over/under league was a real challenge. Five starters above 4 million and only one stud hitter above 4 million. It made the league really close from start to finish.
