This is my first 80's team. Just looking for some feedback. Thanks

Welcome to the 80's Mike...it's a blast!!

Pitching is terrific...wouldn't change it very much if any. Lineup is good. I assume Baylor is DH against both righty's and lefty's, which he will be good to great! Wilson and Boone are not my favorites.

If it were my team I would change Boone into a .75 catcher ( Berryhill, Cerone, Valle, Melvin, Laudner...) that can get after lefty's. Boone usually just doesn't hit. I would use the money saved on Boone to help change Wilson into a heavier hitting left-fielder. Wilson has a lot to offer, but doesn't have a spctacular on-base avg (and obviously won't lead the team in homeruns). I would want a slugger in left, who could help drive in some of your on-base players.

I wouldn't change much else...looks like you did your homework. Good luck.

Nice team. Great pitching good defense.

I'll echo what Jimmy said. Upgrade Wilson with money from Boone. Or keep Boone and get rid of Scoscia.

Great starting pitching. I am not thrilled with your bullpen other than Reardon. Dump Wilson and look for Downing or Luzinski in left to add a little power. Also, dump Boone. I have personally had a lot of luck with the Scioscia/Cerone combo behind the plate.

Thanks for the feedback. I was looking at upgrading Wilson to either Baker or Easler. How do you feel about them vs Downing or Luzinski.

Great SP's -- REALLY great. As stated, you don't need Boone, mainly because you have Sciosia. Get a cheap backup (Wathan is gone, I am sure, but if he's there, get him -- he's a decent hitter and can pinch run and play the position).

Drop Jacoby. Perhaps get a PLT at 3B. I've had good luck with Gross. Mullinix is a good hitter. You'd need a RH counterpart. I'd get a RH-hitting backup OF for pinch hitting and such.

VERY good SP. I'm impressed you got them all (though I do not dig McGregor).

Baker is too pricey for what you get from him. Easler can be a great hitter if you need another left handed hitter in your lineup.
