Question for TSN...

If the rules state that you can't have more than 125 distinct players on your roster in a season, why is it then that there is no way to see a summary on where your team is at regarding such? It's never happened to me, but a guy in a league that I'm in got shut off from player moves with no warning!!

How hard would it be to create a running total that you could access, so other managers don't get caught by surprise too?

it could be a column on the managers profile page you see with the stats for IBB and stuff

If the player and their stats remained on your statistics page, the problem would be solved since you could then just count the number of players you have. The dropped players could be indicated with an asterisk.

It must be a space limitation since that player would be listed on your roster page AND also in the FA list. Otherwise, I'm not sure why they drop that player from your page. I know that other managers would like to see players' stats after they've dropped them besides me.

There are 2 moderators a the top of the message bord page...bryb and NicoTSN. Do you 2 read this stuff? If so...wouldn't a comment from either of you be appropriate. Hey...even "fugheddaboudit" would be better than being totally ignored.

When you are looking at a FA, you get to see the stats they put up on the other teams they played for. Granted, it is not detailed like they are when they are on a team, but that is something a manager can do time to time to check on the competition. I used to do that when I only had 3-4 active teams at a time.

As far as the 125 player limit, I don't have issues with it. It prevents a Kriff type player from ruining a league even more than he does today. If anybody gets to a 125 man limit from game 1 until game 142, I think there are bigger issues. That person may want to consider buying another team to try different players as no matter what the salary hit happens to be, they are gonna add up.

P.S. Questions for TSN belong in the suggestion forum. They respond more frequently there. Not many TSN employees play in 80's leagues but they do sometimes play ATG or 200X.

Who would [b:57939c5cc4]WANT[/b:57939c5cc4] to drop and add so many players that they've had 60...let alone 125!?
