First season?

I have absolutely no data to back this up, but does it seem to any of you that when you pick up a player during the season, you get the first season on the card an overwhelming pct. of the time? Not 50% or anything, but way more than the 20% you should get.

that is not true. I do think people get some seasons more than others, but based on the overall data, it is pretty even

I'm currently tracking a couple of players to see how years shake out...C Fisk & Yastrzemski.

Fisk is a guy I've used a few times in varying parks, but I'm currently in a 5 season league where I have to keep Fisk and Yas on my team with no trades or drops. After the 5 seasons played that will give me at least 10 tries with Fisk so it'll be curious as to what years I get.

Just for fun I went back and figured out my transactions and came up with 20 out of 58 known changes turned out to be their first season. . This turns out to be 34%. Probably nobody else has as boring a life as I do, but if you care to, I would be interested in the findings.

I'd say you have a 20% chance of having that first season for Marichal.
