Great stuff YF,

Carew's numbers certainly make it appear that the Kekionga 'vitamin' program of the late 70's was a sign of desperation.
Glad to see he is back slapping the ball.

it will be fun to watch the number mount into the 80's for those guys like Jackson, Carew, Carlton, etc.

I like the career progression for Koosman if you follow his ERA or ERA+.
He seems to have peaked in '73.
In reality he was still very good in '79 but was never as good as he was in '69.

I suppose it would be easy enough to look up, but it would be interesting to see if league-wide season totals are comparable, or do we have down offensive years when a couple of key players have their bad years?

Hey Yount Fan,

These stats are great and so much fun to look through. I noticed that Ken Griffey is listed twice (70s as Ken Griffey, 80s as Ken Griffey Sr). Doesn't really matter, except that he's stunk up the 80s so I doubt he'd remain in the top 10 for BA and OBP.

Both Griffey and Smalley have been corrected. I'll update the 10 ten tonight or tomorrow
