what's in a name?

a team by any other name... I have noticed something odd with my teams. When I have a team that does well I'll use that team name over and over again and they preform well on a consistant basis. So far my Hittsburgh Stealers teams are well over par. At the moment I'm not doing so good with my Buffalo Soldiers team. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had more success with certain team names than others. It has to be a coincidence(right)? Should I give the Buffalo Soldiers another chance?

Give 'em another chance.
Having said that though I am noticing similar consistencies with my teams.
My only 2 championships were won by the Cleveland Crackheads
in the 80's game I have had a team the SNK Crushers 3 times and all 3 teams lost in the semi finals. My 2 70's crushers teams failed to make the playoffs.
As far as the Crackheads, I have had 6 crackhead teams in total and either they miss the playoffs completely, or they make it to the championship game.
Also I started 2 80's teams and one of those 2003 free trial teams with 2 team names I never used before. The Control Spies are combined 5-1 and the Uzo Head Rots are 0-3.
maybe there is some strange connection between team names and success/failure.
Or it's just a product of our imaginations.
