He was truly one of a kind. It's a shame that he washed up so quickly. Wouldn't it be great to have him included in the 70s game and to get his 1976 season? Or to have his '76 season replicated in the All Time Greats game?

He was a unique bird. Even after all these years, his antics on the mound are still etched in my memory. Godspeed.

That's three BIG losses in the past week. First, Nick Adenhart then Harry the K and now the Bird. I hope that's it. :(
