No backup 1st Baseman

Howdy,

Currently I don't have a backup 1st Baseman. What would HAL do should my only 1st Baseman fall injured? For example, I've got super-sub SS Dal Maxville on the bench picking his nose while Metzger is insanely healthy..
Would HAL use someone like Dal Maxville with his good glove? Would Maxville play 1st as good as he would SS? Oh, and BTW I don't have an Alou brother on the roster!

HAL will pick someone to play 1B. Generally it will be your highest salaried player on the bench.

Howdy,

I picked up defensive whiz George Mitterwald to platoon with equally good glove-man John Milner. At least there'll be a warm body at 1st.
