Fenway Team

It is post waivers with the season set to begin this Monday. I think that my hitting is pretty solid, but I am a little worried about my starting pitching (besides Clemens). What do you guys think? Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated.

I like the Clemens plus 4 rotation idea. I think everybody has their favourites for those 4 spots, you've got a couple mine, but it is a crap shoot of course that will need adjustment as the results come in.

I'm more nervous about the dollars being spent on people who are going to have a hard time hitting a homer in Fenway. With Simmons and Murray both trying to hit it out the long way most of the time and Lynn all the time, I'd be looking at moving Reggie for a Tartabull.

I'd be trying Doran. Herr, Oquendo or even Sax or Thompson before Oberkfell.

I am in your league but not in your division. I love your hitting because this league has 2 Kingdomes, 2 Riverfronts, 3 Wrigleys plus more.

A. You have the hitters to compete in these stadiums
B. Those managers have less hitting than you because you diluted the field
C. You have Panzer Ace in the Kingdome in your division, but he is lacking HR power (unless a goober drops another player like Jack Clark and Panzer picks him again)

Pitching is not important at this stage and Clemens is nice to have should you make the playoffs in game 1 and 5. You'll have to get lucky with some of your pitching choices. But that is what makes this game exciting!

Good Luck! See you in the Playoffs! :D :D
