Can Sandberg continue this badly?

I'm sure it's his bad card, but even that doesn't add up to this season. Is this normal for his bad card?

I'm keeping him for the defense at this point, my team is rolling along and I've been able to wait and see if this is one of those prolonged slumps, but I'm about ready to drop him for some more useful players. I have Tommy Herr doing just fine ready to replace him.

Any experience with the .181 batting Ryno?

play long enough and you will have experience with everybody batting .181 eventually. Your ballpark isnt helping.

Nevertheless, it is probably his worst year and not worth the money.

Dump him ASAP and get some help in Center and Right. You might be rolling along now, but the worm changes very quickly!

I have Sandberg in a league that is currently running. He got off to a ripping .202 avg. batting out of the 2 spot. Plenty of times I strongly considered dropping him,but before I did I tried him out batting 5th. Since the move he has flourished and has been playing very well raising his average to .256 with power. Now .256 is far from outstanding but considering where he started I figure that's acceptable.

I've been waiting for the same thing. With Herr batting so well, I'm ready to drop him. I wish I would have had a reveal for Herr, but Sandberg is killing me when paired with Devon White at the bottom. Two automatic outs each time down the lineup.

I like both of them for defense, but figure I can parlay Sandberg into something useful.

Thanks for the opinions.
