Don Sutton - Keep or Drop

He's driving me crazy. Not only is he pitching well and getting losses in both of the 70's/80's theme leagues, he's doing more of the same in a regular league.
Here are his stats through 9 starts:
1-7 record, 5.89 ERA 1.29 WHIP 53H 14BB 43KO in 52 innings.
opponents are hitting .256 against him, and he has given up 11HRs
Home stadium is Fulton County and he's pitched about half his innings there.
Splits suggest it's probably his 83 season as he's getting lefties out at a little bit better rate (.247 vs L .264 vs R) but it still could be 84.
I always thought he was one of those pitchers who you don't drop no matter what, but wins and losses are the bottom line I can't keep going on with him pitching at 1-7. The only thing keeping him on the roster currently is WHIP, which I value higher than ERA when try8ing to determine pitchers year.
Should I cut ties with him or ride him out figuring he'll turn it around?
