Can this team continue to struggle at the plate?

No, the odds are that you will NOT have everyone's worst year. Getting both Brett's and Gwynn's worst years would be 4% chance. I would bet against that.

I have had a team where 4 superstars bombed out and I languished all season. I currently have Raines who is batting .216 with 150 at bats but of course Raines really doesn't have a bad year.

12 games is nothing and just a minature sample size. The offense will hit. Some of the relievers look good. Starting pitching is always a crap shoot.

I am starting to see a trend in recent 80s play where pitching is being initially ignored and teams in "pitching parks" are loading up with hitters.
This strategy seems to have some sucess.

Good luck. You'll have a winning record in a week or so!

I had the same problem once before. I had a kingdome team with a bunch of good hitters who struggled mightily early. The team got off to a 1-8 start I believe. It may have even been worse than that.
Well I did the same thing, I was considering a complete roster overhaul, but posted to this board and I was told to hang in there.
Sure enough my team ripped off a massive stretch of winning baseball and I ended up winning the championship, with minimal roster moves on the offense to boot.
