It happened last week Thursday/Friday. I had a team make the playoffs and I did not get the 10 point bump. Just curious if Sporting News has frozen the manager ratings for a reason or if it is a glitch in the system.

I think it is a glitch, Mike. My rating hasn't changed in a week, and I am winning. Someone needs to contact Bernie.
My 5 star profiles have changed also. I used to be at 100% for participation but it has decreased to 80% something and I am again a "rookie of the year" which I got a few years ago when I was a 3 star.
The stars really don't bother me, but how can I catch FletchGriswold if my rating remains frozen at 769?
Yes, it is a glitch with this new system.
Bernie, are you out there? :D

I know, catching Fletch has become impossible with the system glitch versus only improbable before.

Latertaters was starting to close in on Fletch. Feeling the heat, Fletch did the only thing he could do...he paid off Bernie to freeze the ratings.
Or at least that's the rumor... :D

I think Jimmy is on to something. I wonder how many $25 credits Fletch had to use to get Bernie to freeze the ratings. :?:
Just to stir things up : )

OK, in WWII, Otto Kretchmer was a German sub commander known as "The Tonnage King." He sank something like 210,000 tons of Allied shipping before being sunk and captured in March of 1941. His record was never broken. However, some believe the record is suspect, as all of Kretchmer's kills came early in the war, before the Allies had their act together, and before they had fitted centimetric radar on all their escorts, which is what really doomed the U-boats and made them "iron coffins".
So, here's my question. Given Panzer Aces' frankly ridiculous winning percentage over the number of seasons played (.585/59 -- it's awesome and untouchable), is there any way to fob this off with the argument that Panzer "scored" early in the game's infancy, and that since Chess and I started playing three years ago, there's really no chance his early run could be duplicated???
Have at it!

I don't see Panzer Ace letting up. He continues to torch the community winning titles at a 50% clip.
Of course, my theory is the name, Panzer Ace. My 3 Panzer teams have all or will make the playoffs. In the community, there have been 5 Pseudo Panzer Ace teams. The 1st won a title, the second lost to a wild card, and 3 are now competing for their playoff spots (2 are in) all in the same league.
Panzer Ace is very good! There is no flukiness about his skills. The name makes you a better manager. It allows you see things from a different perspective. It has intimidation and zaps the life out of the competition. All the other teams become mental midgets.
Nothing to stir up! Tom, if you want a title, put "Panzer" in your name!

Panzer Ace is the best of all time hands down, no one is even close to him.
