Hey Chess! Thanks for setting this up!! Now:

1. What's the max number of teams your shooting for?

2. Can we start earlier than January?? (I currently have no teams and am going through withdsrawal . . . )

3. Where is the hospitality suite going to be this year, and what do you have arranged for entertainment??? :D

1. 48 minimum, 72 maximum. We had 48 last year, 72 the year before

2. If we fill up, we can start before January. Some may want to wait through the Holidays...based on finances but if we fill quickly, we'll start earlier

3. Yes, Tom, there is a hospitality suite and entertainment, but you are not on the list!

If anyone buys a 5 PACK of games, you can buy for either the 70s or 80s and upon request, The Sporting News will transfer individual credits to the other game.

I would like in please. I have little experience with the 70s game but I am decent at the 80s.

Do I need to sign in elsewhere?

Swordeman, I signed you up in the other "sign up" thread for this league. Be sure to check both of these threads often so you will know when things get going.

One suggestion (and a change I would have made): I think the 2nd 70s season should be 80M. The vast majority of 70s leagues are 80M and, therefore, it doesn't seem to make sense to have a 100M league in the series.

i think that would be fine. $80 million for both 70s would make it easier for the inexperienced 70s player. The less confusion, the better.

I think you will find that 1/2 are decent 70s players and 1/2 are decent 80s players which makes this tournament a lot of fun. I considered myself a good 80s players and poor 70s but have scored higher in the 70s in the last 2 years.

My goal is to get to the Final 12, and both times, I fizzled out to lose close to 100 games in the last 80s. This time things will change!!!

Are these all DH leagues? I think it would provide better variety if there were 2 DH and 2 no-DH leagues.

If we don't have unique stadiums and don't have live drafts, we definately need some differences. Can't just play 4 80M DH leagues letting teams play in the same stadium. Do unique stadiums, 100M, no DH, etc. I'd even try 60M 80s.
