FATY III Update

For those who have been part of our [i:42bb354bb1]Franchises Across the Years[/i:42bb354bb1] (FATY) Tourney, an update.

We will look foward to getting FATY III off the ground around the first of March, once the 2009 cards are available. I am leaning toward using '69, 70's, 80's, '99, and 2009 this time around.

I don't need to remind you that we have a 2-time FATY Champion in Fred Aaron. Can he keep the dynasty alive? Will another of our old-school geniuses knock him off?

I'm thinking traveling trophy, something huge this time around, probably solid bronze, engraved with each winner's name. If someone wins three in a row they keep the trophy. I'm thinking about having Ed McMahon deliver the trophy to the winner's doorstep. He'll just pull up and . . . wait a minute . . . he what?. . . when? . . . anyway, like I was saying, an Elvis impersonator will deliver the trophy! Yes!

In the meantime, sign up for the 70's/80's tourney. Let's get that one off the ground. Managers are still needed.
