Yeah, last night in 80's league 2 for the tournament . . . so livid . . . closer blows game one, as my team musters only two hits and loses by one run . . . game 2 goes to the 18th, so HAL brings in my starting pitcher for the NEXT game, who gets the loss, we lose by one run again . . . and game three, and exhausted Bosio goes 9 1/3 after going three in relief the night before and we lose . . . by ONE RUN! ARGH!!!! And all this against the top team in my division! Now I'm tired for last! What a night . . . 70's was just as bad, if not worse. Too late to fold? meh . . .

Sometimes you are the windshield and sometimes you are the bug. :P Last night you were squished. Maybe tonight it will be your team doing the squishing.

pissed off is:

1. Having your 28 game winner getting injured in the 2nd inning of game 7 of the Finals and seeing the relievers blow it.

2. Having your ace reliever give up 8 runs in the 9th inning and lose game 7 of the Championship game 10-9.

3. Going out without a title in 15 consecutive playoffs.

Man, those are tough breaks guys!

After losing a whole slew of playoffs in the semis, I now build new teams specifically to win the 5 game set. If I miss the playoffs, fine. Lose in the finals, fine. But I hate losing in the semis!!
