Question Re: Viewing L/R Splits

Is there a way to see how a partiular player in the free agent group has performed versus RHP and LHP?

When viewing players that are currently on a team's roster, you can see how they are performing versus LHP and RHP by using the L/R Splits selection. However, once a player is dropped from a team's roster and returns to the free agent group, there doesn't appear to be anyway to see how he performed against LHP and RHP. I suppose I could try to look at all the games that he's played in and make an assessment that way, but that seems awkward and time consuming.

I'm thinking about acquiring a player that was recently dropped by another team. I'd only use this player in a platoon situation, so it's critial that I know how he hits against LHP vs. RHP.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately once a player is dropped the L/R splits are gone. The only way to see them again is if the same team that dropped the player reacquires him, then the stats will reappear for the player.

Thanks for the reply. That's not exactly the news I was hoping to hear. I guess I have my work cut out for me. On the bright side, the cost of my entertainment (Strat) per hour keeps getting cheaper.
