Finally: see free agent years at season's end

Yeah, that's right, finally... effective immediately, for The '70s Game and Back to the '80s, [b:afd267cfb1]you can now see the true year of every player in the free agent pool after the Finals is over.[/b:afd267cfb1] Previously, you could only see the years of the players owned by teams. By popular demand, and after only a few years in the making, you can now agonize over all the missed opportunities and the tragic, premature drops you made.
To visit the free agent pool in any of your previous, or recently finished teams:
- '70s: Trades/Mail -> Free Agents
- '80s: Regular Season -> free agents
Notes:
- It may take an extra day after a Finals is over before the years show up in the free agent pool, just because of the way our system closes out leagues... I'm not exactly sure.
- I'm now able to make a forum thread appear in more than one forum, and this thread (cross-posted to appear in both the '70s and '80s forums) is an example of this new (internal) functionality. This will allow me to make announcements or hold discussions in one central thread, and have all replies go to one place, while being visible in multiple forums. This has a hopefully very small side effect: you'll notice that the link towards the top of this post says "The '70s Game", and it would send you to the '70s forum, even if you came here via the '80s forum. Hopefully that is overshadowed by the significant benefits of this new functionality.
I'm gonna keep this short and sweet for now... but stay tuned for a significant (and good) announcement next week about the future of the mystery card games, including the '70s and '80s games.
Thanks and enjoy!
