Note: Updates in [b:754033c5ea]bold[/b:754033c5ea]

To summarize where we are at so far, we have a live draft going on at somdraft.com
It is a 15 round draft and we're voting on whether or not one of those 15 picks is going to be a unique stadium. We will be autodrafting the remaining players.
It'll be an 80 million salary cap.
[b:754033c5ea]Unique stadiums won the vote.[/b:754033c5ea]

[b:754033c5ea]Division assignments are as follows:
East:
1. hallerose
2. killermarc
3. Great Unwashed
4. voovits

Central:
1. Moodywoody
2. TomP
3. DarthRuvo
4. durantjerry

West:
1. hailedog
2. Rigged Splits
3. LMBombers
4. swordeman [/b:754033c5ea]

TomP is currently on vacation from May 14th to the 24th, as a result, for the majority of the draft, tehre will be no clock.
Keep checking here for updates on the draft. I'll update the subject of the thread to reflect what is happening and who's turn it is to pick. I'll also be keeping this thread bumped if necessary as well.

Hopefully by the time the draft goes through ROUND 1, we would have a vote on the Stadiums. I see everyone picking their first few picks before resorting to proxies. Of course, if the vote is undecided by round 3, we could go with no unique stadiums even though I have never seen anyone grab a stadium in the 1st 6 rounds. But you can never underestimate Hallerose.

I am neutral but I have to root for my Tennessee neighbors Voovits and DarthRuvo. DarthRuvo and the Jedi Master have been battling for 10 years against each other and the Dark Side has the upper hand at least in the 80s.

Good Luck to all. Curt Schilling offered his Red Sox jersey as a prize, but I had to nix it. This is the 70s/80s Championships, not the 90s.

I wasn't expecting anyone to draft a stadium early, I just figured that draft strategy may change if you know there's a chance you may not be able to play in the stadium you wanted.

It affects your strategy from Round 1 on. Do you draft someone who you know will excel in your stadium (which you are guaranteed to get) or do you pick someone who will play better in a variety of stadiums. I'd like to know before I take my 2nd pick.

Just to remind everyone about my post in another thread, I'm traveling until May 25th with questionable Internet access. I assume we will have no clock until then.

My round 1 selection has been made and I will attempt to move the draft along if possible.

We are aware that you'll be away, and won't have an effective clock during that time. I'll keep the thread subject updated with the name of the person who is up to pick, so anyone could see whos turn it is without having to log into the draft site.

swordeman:
Reminder, the draft site is http://som.somdraft.com
your username is swordeman and the password is test
You could change your password once you log in if you so desire.
The site is pretty self explanatory, but if you have any questions on how it works, don't hesitate to ask.

Sorry to ask a redundant question if this was posted elsewhere, but the cap is $80M, is that correct?
