Newbie: Roster Size Q

Postby Soup_Zahn » Tue Jul 20, 2010 2:32 pm

I've just finished my first draft and it's the pre season free agent signing time.

There is a high priced free agent I'd like, but don't have cap room

I could make room by releasing 3 or maybe 4 players.

Q1 What is the fewest player's I can keep on my roster?

Q2 If I must release more than 1 player to make room, must designate 1 player to release if I the free agent I want, but must release the others outright, even before I know the the tranaction is a go?

Thanks

[b:6af12862fe]70's 24 (10 P, 14 H)
80's 23 (10 P, 13H)[/b:6af12862fe]

[b:6af12862fe]For waivers yes. It is a simple process 1:1[/b:6af12862fe]

24 players is the minimum, but you can go with only 9 pitchers if you want in the 70s game.
