HPB without injury for Tim Raines?

Postby dutchfarley » Sat Oct 02, 2010 6:10 pm

Hello, Am new to the Sporting news mystery format games but have played the Strat board game several years ago. Anyway I had something occur in a game that I can't quite figure out. Tim Raines was batting against Daryl Kile and got HBP , and stayed in the game . Howver on none of his seasons does he have a HPB without an injury. I had always thought that if you rolled a HPB+injury the player at a minimum would at least be injured for the remainder of the game. Am I mistaken? Agin just trying to figure out how the result occured for Raines. Any help would be appreciated.

He must have rolled a 1 or 2 for the injury. That results in no injury and he remains in the game.

Thanks I appreciate it. Wasn't sure that was a possible outcome of an injury roll
