All I have to say is "wow". If you get his 03 card, you got yourself the steal of the entire mystery set, all 3 games included.

Look at this stat line for my team so far this season:

15 starts: 12-2 123.1IP 84H 30ER 35BB 123KO 2.19ERA 0.96WHIP

His WHIP was less than 1.00 in both of his losses, and his no-decision as well.

All this for a measly 3.33 million salary.
He averages over 200IP/season, I wonder why he does not have a * rating.

But seriously, is there a player in any of the 3 games who could have such an impact on a team for 3.5 million or less?

Of course now I have cursed him to lousy stats for the remainder of the season...

Schmidt, in my league, not on my team:

19 starts - 10-5, 153 IP, 107 hits, 41 ER, 39 BB, 124 SO, 2.41 ERA, 0.95 whip

In his 5 losses, he's suffered from only 8 runs scored for his team. Wonder what card he has......................
