I bogarted this link from the ATG message boards. Its a link to an interview with Jimmy Wynn, aka the "toy cannon". Interesting look at some his life in/out of baseball.

Grew up attending Astros games in the 70s. I saw Wynne beat the Dodgers in..must've been '73 with a game-winning, 2 out HR in the 9th. Wynn literally cork-screwed himself into the ground, swinging and missing at Claude Osteen's first two pitches. Then he launched Osteen's third pitch into orbit! I swear, that ball went higher than it did far!

PS: I remember that after the big scoreboard's lightshow, the large sign read: "We Wynn!" I miss the Astrodome.
