My team-actually, your team; waivers past: where to spend 3M

All right.
I listened to most of your suggestions.¨Picked up Harrah at 3b, Herr at 2nd, Scott as my #3 SP, and a few cheap relievers that you suggested. I finally ended up with Dykstra at cf.
The only advice I didn't follow is that I picked up Oliver at dh. It appears to me that he has a monster hit card, plus lots of clutch. With all the speed I have on my team, he appears as the ideal dh, don't you think?
Here is my current team: please note that I have both Sciosica (-2) and Hassey (+1, good card).

My three questions:
1- Should I keep Sciocia or Hassey?
2- Dh: Oliver or get another one? (Still available: Durham, Greenwell, Phelps)
3- (once these two questions are settled: How should I spend best my extra 3-4M)???

Marcus,
I really like your team a lot - I use Royals Stadium quite often.
You have a great 4 man rotation.
Guys like Al Oliver and George Hendrick are often available on waiver wires, but they are both great plays at Royals Stadium :D
If this were MY team, I would keep Sciossia/Wathan and drop Hassey. I would use that extra money to upgrade your bullpen, which is really suspect. Throw out some names of RP on the waiver wire and let's see who's out there.
You've got a team that I'd love to have in Royals Stadium!

You should dump one of your Catchers. I have been tempted to try Hassey but never have. His fielding is soooooo bad.
I think Durham and Greenwell are better than Oliver. I love Greenwell. Never tried Durham, but have been meaning to. A. Davis is a stellar 1B for the price and is usually available. There are just so many good 1Bs that Oliver does not usually make the cut. Oliver has good avg. but only 2 years with an OPS over .800.
Who are the best/most expensive players players available? If there is someone really good available, Id use your money that way.
I do not like your RPs. You might want to get a good 3 million dollar guy for the bullpen. Look for .75 RPs that have one or 2 amazing years as opposed to 4 or 5 decent years.

Don't get me started on Hassey again... :D
Oliver will do fine...as will Durham. Both can hit lefty's and righty's, and have high OBP. Invest what you can in a better pen. Everything else is top notch.

theyre listed in reverse order.
From what I can see of the relievers, I like Mohorcic and Murphy. Some people like Power.

Pick up Waits as your 5th starter and dump your 2 SP/RPs fast.
Pick up MDavis fast.
Bedrosian, Leach, Mohorcic are marginally better than your other RPs but you may want a second opinion on thos.

Its a decent rotation but2 of those pitchers have too many bad years (Key especially if you have RH teams against you). Royals will help but be prepared to jump off them quickly. I like Scott and Soto in a pitchers park.
