While these public league related forums don't seem to draw many owners, I'll just work to increase my TSN "Community" points with a few posts.

The [b:5b37b1b643]Cleveland Leathernecks2[/b:5b37b1b643] are in the West and calling "Wrigley" its home.

Hey Semper Gumby...I remember my first 2 picks:

Brett
Raines

After that it was a blur... I filled the draft card in 5 minutes, shot some guys in and out, forgot to put the catcher I wanted back in, and loaded into the league before the wife realized that dinner was burning. :D

My draft is not going to be pretty, but good luck with your draft card.

Well, I got my wish -

Plenty of players I have either never used before or ever won in a draft.

I don't recognize half of my position players and it showed as I had the 4th waiver position.

I'm looking towards the waiver wire to send a few more players to the unemployment line.

Themes Galore?

Took a quick pass through the other teams this morning to see what the hell happened to my draft last night.

With one or two teams going with unbalanced approaches (all hitting teams; cheap pitching; all cheap catchers), the free agent hitters' listing is unusually sparse besides a few high $ huge up/downside cards.

Going with a heavy tilt hitters' card with the balanced mix of LHSPs / RHSPs in a division, will create a risky approach given the coverage required for the weak side of the plate.

As TSN didn't allow for "reverse pitching" line-ups like the CDROM, it could be a long season for some teams.

Otherwise, the pitching free agent listings reveal a decent collection of quality arms and with the use of more pitcher parks - plenty of options for some of us.

did you get Guerrero and Parker? those seemes risky to me. The other guys you listed I would think you would have got (although Ozzie might be a toss up).

My top card:

Murphy :)
Smith :)
Stieb :)
Reuschel :)
Geurrero
Burke :)
Parker

With the number of teams going for a few twists, the waiver wire activity will be strange. So, I am happy that HAL gave me something besides Ron Kittle and company.

BTW, the highest $ available position players: Gary Carter and Keith Hernandez.
