BTT 90s 2-Tm Rdx: caimrisek and schillip8 to load, any order

Two team theme - We live draft any two franchise teams. You can use any player that shows up for either of your teams when you look at the players from the team drop down. Careful because many players will show up under multiple teams. You may not have exclusive rights. No trading. Beware of 1999 Ana name change to LAA.

Arizona and Tampa Bay were new teams late in the 90s and therefore don't have a large roster. For purposes of this league they are combined into one team. If you chose them you get both rosters AS WELL AS another regular team.

When you sign up there is not need to put a lottery state. When the league is full I'll ask someone outside of the league to run a randomizer to get a random draft order. There will be a 2 round serpentine draft to pick our teams. The person that has the first pick will also have the 24th and final pick and so forth. You must use a stadium from one of your teams selected. If you select the Dodgers, you may use any stadium FROM A TEAM NOT DRAFTED.

When filling out your AD card you can only use players from one of your teams. It would be advisable to put important players that you share with other teams high on your AD card if you want them. There is no trading allowed. Miss a player you want in the AD? You will have to make due with some other option from your available players.

When you sign up please indicate if you prefer an 80M or 100M salary cap. We will go with majority vote.

If we could use the 2 Franchise team names in the naming convention for our 90s team it would help with identification purposes
IE selected Yankees and Red Sox could be called NY Red Sox or Boston Yankees or be more creative I won't make it required but would be great

UPDATE: NO TRADING, just easier that way (on the off chance it would work, let the league vote on the trade) and yes it is DH, trust me, running this format with no dh really, really limits the offenses as well as the defenses

WHY 100 MIL IS GOOD: For this format, its better to have the money in reserve than not have a chance at all (you can always just not spend it). For instance, if you choose the reds....can u really build a 80mil team with larkin and grif taking up 21+? The result is handicapped teams because they have multiple great players. Just my two cents :) PLEASE RECRUIT!

a couple of questions:
-is this a dh league? (if there's a vote, I'd vote no dh but I'm fine either way)
-what about trading where all the players involved are eligible to play for both teams. (for example let's say someone has Oakland/Boston and someone else has Cleveland/St. Louis, why couldn't those guys trade Manny for McGwire?) It probably wouldn't come into play anyway but I think it'd be interesting to at least have the option to trade in the right situation.

You gotta watch the Angels and Dodgers. The Angels players are spread out over ANA and LA. So the LA sort has both Dodgers and Angels players.

Two Team Theme

I'll try this again. Maybe I can get a team with some pitchers that can get the ball over the plate. ET
