Draft players from only 2 teams- one American, one National. (A dream world series combo) Only rule is that player had to wear that team's uniform sometime in their career- even if it was prior to or post 70's. (use baseball reference.com) After play starts any and all free agent players are fair game regardless of team using the 5-10-20 rule. The idea or this league will give a team loyalty, identity, flavor and history for play. Also, presents a challenge and strategy during initial draft and pre-season moves.
1. First team in draft and registers their world series team by names of the teams. Example: Dodgers/Redsox, Cubs-Orioles, Pirates-Yankees, Reds-Rangers etc. I believe there are enough combos out there to do it.
2. All free agency moves and trades during season are of course allowed.
Feel free to comment- add ideas- or tell me this will not fly, but above all is there interest still out there?
